What is it

Elastic-HPC is an SD4H project that lets you have a private HPC deployment so you can work on data that cannot be stored on a shared system. You and your team will be the sole user of a SLURM cluster coming with all the bells and whistles of the Magic Castle project.

Is it for me?

If you are working with sensible data, need a computing system that can scale, but your data cannot be transferred on shared infrastructure, Elastic-HPC is a good alternative to the Canadian national HPC servers by the Alliance.

What is Magic Castle

Magic Castle was first a project that aims to reproduce a standard Compute Canada HPC cluster (Compute Canada has been absorbed by the [ https://alliancecan.ca/ Alliance]. It has its the fully compiled CC software stack and also comes with the mugqiq software stack and the mugqic references genomes maintaind respectively by the Alliance and the C3G.

How can I get my own HPC

You can send you inquiries at juno@calculquebec.ca
