What happens in the skin consultation
Our aim is to find out what you love and don’t love about your skin, if you have any skin and what your skin goals are. We combine that information with a full skin examination and assessment, so we can create the right treatment and skincare plan for you.
During your consultation, we’ll remove makeup or products from so we can fully your skin, the texture, thickness and colour which could indicate such as acne or pigmentation. Your skin will also be examined under a skin scanner, which can indicate if your skin is healthy, dehydrated, oily, or has sun damage. We will take your before photos, so you can see your progress throughout your treatment plan.
We’ll then discuss your daily and skincare and plan to get the best results for you and your skin. We may recommend a number of options including peels, microneedling or Hydrafacial, and skincare to use at home. Depending on your goals or the severity of your skin concern, we will refer you to a doctor or nurse. And if you are interested in injectables as a solution to the signs of ageing, we can also refer you to a doctor or nurse prescriber too.

Your skin will be fully examined for a number of skin concerns, your skin goals will be assessed, and your personalised plan will be recommended. If you have more pronounced skin concerns that require a doctor or , we may refer you, and can also refer you to a nurse prescriber or doctor for .
To secure an appointment, we will require a deposit. Your credit or debit card details will be against your booking. For Practitioner or Nurse we take a fully refundable (subject to terms) deposit of £25 and £50 for Doctor led consultations. Please refer to our for more information.
Your skin consultation lasts around minutes. This will allow the practitioner to fully assess your skin and your skin goals, discuss your and create a treatment plan.
The consultation is completely free, but we do require a £25 to secure your . You won’t be if you attend your appointment, or you cancel or move your over 48 hours before your appointment in line with our cancellation policy.
The cost of your treatment and/or skincare plan will be confirmed during your consultation, but can start from £59, depending on your clinic.
Your consultation will be with one of our nurses or practitioners with of the skin. Should you have a more severe skin concern, they can also refer you into a doctor or if you need to see one. Please note these consultations with a doctor or dermatologist are chargeable and do a refundable* deposit – please check the consultation price before booking. We can also refer you to a doctor or nurse for an consultation if you are about the signs of ageing. These consultations are free, but we do a refundable* £50 deposit to secure your booking. Please check our for more information.
We will ask you to come makeup free, but feel free to bring some with you to put on after the consultation if you wish.
Our expert skin practitioners will ask a variety of questions which are to help them create the best plan of action to tackle your skin concern. For example:
You can wear makeup to your appointment, however, we recommend that you come makeup free so that we can spend the maximum amount of time your skin. We cannot fully examine your skin with makeup on as we need to assess the texture, and colour which could indicate concerns such as acne or .
Step 1 – We will have a chat with you about everything you don’t love about your skin, whether you have any particular and what your goals are to help us create your personalised plan.
Step 2 – Before photos will be taken, allowing us to track your throughout your treatment plan.

If you have a more severe concern, such as cystic acne, we will refer you to a doctor. If you are interested in anti-ageing injectables to boost your confidence, we can also refer you to a doctor or nurse prescriber.
